"My feeling is that the concept of creativeness and the concept of the healthy, self actualizing, fully human person seem to be coming closer and closer together, and may perhaps turn out to be the same thing" ~Abraham Maslow

Welcome to day number 17 of the 22 Day Course. Those at the top of Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs possess an unusual high level of creativity. Maslow even said quote "My feeling is that the concept of creativeness and the concept of the healthy, self actualizing, fully human person seem to be coming closer and closer together, and may perhaps turn out to be the same thing."

Maslow explained that the self-actualized person in order to be truly creative, was able to inhabit certain qualities or ways of being - for example the creative self-actualized person lives in the moment, they become lost in the present, they're able to give up the past and the future.

They're able to exhibit a narrowing of focus to deal with the matter at hand, they let go of self consciousness and become absorbed in the non-self, they act without fear, anxieties, inhibitions, fear of ridicule, humiliation or fear of failure.

They have a positive attitude, they have absolute trust in themselves. They're able to just let things happen. They exhibit courage, strength of character, spontaneity, and honest expression.

These are the ways of being of the self-actualized and in this "How to be Creative Visualization" and the visualizations to follow, you're going to unleash these qualities within yourself. When you do, you'll find yourself becoming a genius in your chosen field and you will advance further in your life purpose then you may have ever dreamed possible. The creative person is flexible; he is able to change as the situation changes, to break habits, to face indecision and changes in conditions without undue stress. He is not threatened by the unexpected as rigid, inflexible people are.” ~ Frank Goble

  • “Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.” ~ Albert Einstein
  • “Truly creative people care a little about what they have done, and a lot about what they are doing. Their driving focus is the life force that surges in them now.” ~ Alan Cohen
